BAD is an automated accounting and bookkeeping platform that connects to your bank accounts, classifies transactions, reconciles accounts, generates financial reports, and answers plain-English financial questions via email and messaging apps. Bank account connections are provided by Plaid Technologies, Inc. By connecting a bank account, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Bank connections are read-only — BAD cannot initiate transfers, payments, or any transactions on your behalf.
Transaction classification, statement extraction, and financial Q&A features are powered by AI. AI-generated output may contain errors or omissions. BAD is not a licensed CPA, accountant, tax advisor, or financial advisor, and does not provide professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing the accuracy of your books, ensuring your financial records comply with applicable accounting standards, and consulting a licensed professional for tax filings, audits, or legal matters.
